several months ago i installed malwarebytes and it immediately began to identify the bug noted in my Title. i have windows xp and symantec, Spybot S&D and Microsoft Security CEnter firewall and antivirus and do upates once or twice a week. the first time i ran malwarebytes, i got an icon in the lower tool bar saying my antivirus was off. i turned it back on. . now when i ck the microsoft security center, all items (antivirus, updates and firewall) are always on even though malwarebytes tells me i have this HKEY bug.is this a virus or a conflict between several security/virus programs? if it is a virus, how do i get rid of it. my computer skill is about 4 on a 1 to ten spectrum, ten being high. any help is appreciated.
